Looking to rent a kimono? Want to take ikebana lessons? Have a child who wants to study abroad in Japan but don’t know where to begin? Plese use JFLA’s Japan-related links to find a wealth of information and resources both online and in the SoCal area.

If you are aware of any online or in-person resources of note, please feel free to add them to this thread as well!

In the New York metropolitan area, you can borrow Japanese cultural artifacts (Japanese dolls, happi, ikebana sets, a Japanese mortar and a pestle for the New Year celebration etc) at the Consulate General of Japan in New York. We (LaGuardia Community College) borrow them for our New Year event every year.

    Here is more info.
